Drawing Now eight propositions

Read chapter three of the book Drawing now which seems to be the chapter with the most drawing in it. need to think a lot about this because in the preface it says “Works we can legitimately call drawings are being made today that could not have been imagined were more traditional practices their only foil.” When is a water colour not a water colour but a drawing and what is non traditional about water colour? Flicking through the book again the common denominator might be paper so works on paper are called drawings?, and what is non traditional about paper?
